"Uglified" and "bush hogged" is how one hiker described the clearing made recently by Bangor Gas on its right-of-way property in Walden-Parke Preserve. Bangor Land Trust (owners of the preserve) offered to keep the area clear for the company in hopes of maintaining a natural aesthetic. However, attempts to reach out to Bangor Gas were unsuccessful and the company moved ahead on its own. As a result, Bangor Land Trust is planning a volunteer Right-of-Way Cleanup Day.
